Or in this case his letter... (thanks to Samuel Taylor Coleridge for the quote)

It's so funny that this arrived in my mailbox today. I had emailed Barbara B this morning to see if she had had any news to report in regards to her Office Depot battle. She did and will likely post it soon if she hasn't already. It was also funny to me because I didn't think that they would bother responding.

If anyone's interested in reading their response, I'll scan the letter in as a PDF and post it later. As I predicted, they included coupons for ... McDonalds (no surprise there) for me to use on my next visit to the "Golden Arches". Not bloody likely folks. I'm sticking ot my guns. When I told my brother that I had received the coupons but wasn't going to use them, he said he'd take them. NO SIR-EE, I said.

After discussion with my sister-in-law, I've decided to give them away. Not to friends, family or coworkers as I don't want to encourage an unhealthy lifestyle or to support this multi-national crap-oration. Recently, a group of "squeegee kids" appeared at the corner where I catch the bus on the way home. Chances are they could use the food more than I do and although it's not the most nutritious, it would be better than them going hungry.

That's amazing timing! Send a little bit of that mojo luck my way.

How much did they end up giving you in coupons anyway? I think that is an excellent use for those coupons. I'm sure the kids will appreciate the grub.

Well done!

I agree, excellent use of the coupons...I might have landed giving them to some scary skin head ex-cons...just to freak out the corporation...

But your idea of the kids is way better. Also having squeezie kids and a good karma with them bodes well as form of secrutiy for your neighbourhood. They will always know wahts going on and watch out for you.

And heck, maybe they even like the food there? heh heh?
