Thanks for these links. I thought my doctor was ignoring my request for exams because I'm older. Apparently women get ignored because they are younger. Why do the docs not take this seriously until its almost too late? Boy, I am calling my doc in Florida who always does a good exam then forwards me for a mammogram forthwith! We as women get to lackadaisical concerning ourselves with this too. I have been on hormones for 20 years, when I recenty drove 200 miles to a gyn person to get advice about getting off, I was told to get a book and read up on hormone replacement, and that'll be $120 please.
