Ooops! I did it...again?

I'm always early. The doc's appointment is a clear example of that. However, I was apparently WAY too early on my Christmas cards this year. I was trying to wait until this weekend to send them off but I couldn't do it. They were popped in the mail on Monday. I figured that was still good and people would get them today at the earliest. What a perfect way to start off December! Unfortunately, this didn't happen. Despite the problems delivery mail to Sherwood Park these days, mail service in Edmonton is HIGHLY efficient. How efficient you ask? People in town received their cards on Wednesday, and I've received word that those in BC and Calgary received theirs yesterday...one day too soon. Nuts. Oh well, better late than never right?
On an unrelated note, here's a card I'd like to send...
Dear Coworker:
I don't care what people do in their own home but when you're at work and an office shares the daily paper, please don't take it with you to the bathroom. We all know what you're doing in there. Unless I get the paper before you, there's no way I'm going anywhere near it once you're done unless I'm wearing a Hazmat suit. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hey, it's fantastic to hear the mail service is so good! I bought some xmas cards last night. Probably send some out by Monday.

Hey, why not email me your address, I'd love to send you a card, and maybe some other fun things...what say you?

I will never be able to read the newspaper at work again. :@

I received a Christmas card on February 1st, with a December 1st postal date on the envelope. When I asked the post office why a piece of mail that was mailed in the same town took two months to get to me, they said, oh it didn't look important so we put it in a box and just got around to sorting it..........I screeched at them - it might have had money in it - who are you to make that judgement?

Needless to say, they aren't very nice when I need services in there anymore. Maybe your folks can come down here and give some classes!

SOMEBODY has to be a total Christmas weenie - it might as well be you! JK - it was actually great to get your card when I did because it made me kick my own ass a little bit.
