Don't tell Tanya. It's a surprise...!

Right mitten done, starting on the left. I hope she likes them. They're a teensy bit snug but should keep her fingers toasty warm. Then, it's on to a pair of matching hats for her and Kate. I better get knitting...

Christmas went well. No major problems other than my nephew sharing his cold with me. Woke up Christmas morning with a killer sore throat. Then, after dinner, my niece coughed in my face and then farted, laughing hysterically. Ah, she's definately my brother's daughter. Santa brought the cats a big can of tuna which they ate for their breakfast. Full of tuna juice and tired after a full night of jumping on my head, this was what they were up to when I headed off to Dave's for dinner. What a great life they have.

I hope your throat miraculously heals itself. I hear that lots of brandy helps...

That is some awesome knitting! Who wouldn't want a skull and crossbones on their mitts!

That cat picture makes me want to go lie down for a while. Oh, you know what? I can!

Oh kitty cat is so cute I'd like to curl up to. Isn't it exhausting hanging out at holidays with family, why is that? Is it because I'm always biting my tongue? I don't know...but we survived, the best part was cocktail party with friends in fabulous apartment, easy goping. Today...we just flooppped in front of the tv...

What a bummer that you're sick again! You seem to get sick a lot... Hope you feel better soon.
Did you get any snow?

If there is such thing as reincarnation, I want to come back as a cat.

Our cat had lots of playtime with the ribbon that was coming off our presents and fish for two meals on the trot. Then he slept all that activity off on his bed by the radiator, which consists of two old sofa cushions stacked on top of each other, a folded summer duvet and a large, soft cushion. I work seven-day weeks to keep this cat in the style he's accustomed to, and still if I stroke him when he doesn't want to be stroked, he hisses at me like a mofo...

Glad to hear Christmas was fine and dandy! Gotta get over that cold now, though...
