Plato? Aristotle? Socrates? Morons.

The first day of 2007 has gone quite well so far. Very relaxing. The Christmas tree is being put away, the decorations are going back into storage for another year and it's time to look ahead. Dishes are almost done, laundry is folded/hung up and put away. It's all good.

Made some killer penne with a creamy tomato sauce. No pictures, it was too yummy. I've even managed to resist the urge to grab a soda today. This afternoon I'm spending my time with one of my favourite movies which some of you may have guessed from the quote in my title. There's a big bowl of popcorn waiting for me with my name on it but I should warn you all. If anyone's thinking of grabbing a handful or two, I'm well trained in Bonetti's Defence.

Hope the new year has started well for all of you and we'll see you all after the final credits!

Happy New Year. Sounds like a great way to spend the day. It's pouring with rain here, so we're just staying in, and I'm making some bread while watching Da Ali G Show.

Happy 007! You are certainly bringing in the year in an organized fashion. I'm still slobbing about.

Sounds glorious. Happy New Year! I spent my new years day scrubbing the kitchen floor and vacuuming our bedroom. Nice! It was strangely cathartic. But today... my back...

HAPPY HAPPY!

What's the film you watched? I feel like a moron myself for not knowing...

We watched Les Choristes (The Chorus) yesterday. It's a wonderful movie, I thoroughly recommend it (I'm sure * will review it in due course).
