Portsmouth lost to Man Utd 2-1 in FA Cup play (not surprising)

The Oilers lost to the Sharks last night 5-1 (ouch, but again, not surprising However if they lose to the Kings tonight, I'm tempted to find a new team)

I heard an interesting rumor today: Jason Smith and Marc-Andre Bergeron might be traded to Ottawa in exchange for some guy I'd never heard of. Can this be true? Sure, send MAB off to never-never land - I'm still a bit bitter about the fiasco in game 1 last playoff season. But Smith? Come on guys, say it ain't so!

In movie news, I watched Little Miss Sunshine yesterday. I didn't find it very funny. Sure there were short bursts of giggles but they were few and far between (the movie did start Steve Carrell after all). I spent most of the movie with a box of kleenex. What's on tap for tonight? Another 50 pages of Collapse (looks like I might just finish by the end of the month), Oilers at 8PM and Children of Men.

Sorry, nothing more intelligent to say at the moment. Give me a break, it's the weekend.

I really enjoyed Little Miss Sunshine, but I thought it would be funnier, too. Ah well. I hope you like Children of Men; I thought it was excellent.

ah, hockey rumors abound... rumor is the Wings are about to trade for Peter Forsberg....

Like all hockey runors, I take them with more than just a grain of salt.

If things keep going badly in Oiltown, maybe the wings can get Rollie the goalie after all!

Why the Kleenexes? Did Little Miss Sunshine make you cry? (I haven't seen it yet, so I have no idea, but I had heard it was a comedy).

I hate being duped like that when I go to the cinema. The same thing happened to me when I went to see Muriel's Wedding. God, wasn't that the most depressing movie ever made (except for Trees Lounge with Steve Buscemi)? I was expecting happy Abba songs, instead it was horrid, horrid, horrid.
