Could it be? ** UPDATED **

Saturday, February 10, 2007
Returning home this morning after running some errands, I flipped on the tv which just happened to be tuned to Sportsnet. And since it's Saturday, they're showing an EPL match. Shockingly (could the world be ending?), they're bringing us lucky Canadians a rare Portsmouth match. I think I may have died and gone to heaven! Just past the halfway mark at the moment (11:27am MST), Portsmouth is up 1 - 0 over Manchester City. Not really surprising...it's not as if they're playing United (who won yet again today). Hopefully I'm not jinxing them and Portsmouth will be able to pull off their first win since Boxing day.

UPDATE: Well, there was a scary moment when Man City managed to tie it up. Truth be told, Portsmouth didn't play as well in the second half as they did in the first. However, they managed to come back and score the winning (FINALLY) goal with about 10 minutes left to play. What a relief.

Also, somehow, the Oilers managed to beat Chicago last night. That settles it, armageddon is coming.

don't get too excited, the Blackhawks have the third worst record in the league. The Oilcans ae playing pretty good tonight against the Thrashers though!

Portsmouth, I know you've mentioned it before, but please explain it again, I really don't understand.
