Spring Has Sprung

It looks like winter might finally be over! It reached a glorious +6C today! Because it was so fabulous outside, I packed my running shoes and a hat when I left the house this morning and decided that I'd walk home after work.

Look! The snow is melting...is that (dare I say it?) grass I see emerging from the melting snowbanks?

Hey look! Isn't that Mr. Ed's house? I wonder if he's home. Perhaps I should stop in for a cup of tea and we could discuss the environment, education, and health care. Or maybe he's enjoying that beautiful blue Alberta sky.

Hmmm, no answer. He must be out doing something important like running the province or kissing babies. I'll have to try again tomorrow.

I had no idea you had a talking horse for a premier.

NOT FAIR... you up there in the great white north have less snow than I do!

Very smart of you to plan to walk home! Great pics too!

It's been gorgeous here as well. I was off work yesterday and was doing my recycling and such in a short sleeved shirt. Yay!

That is one glorious blue sky! Beautiful, beautiful pictures, Karen. Edmonton looks nice... is that like a riverside promenade in the first photo?
