Free Hugs for Everyone

Saturday, April 14, 2007
Sometimes, a hug is all what we need. Free hugs is a real life controversial story of Juan Mann, A man whos sole mission was to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten up their lives. In this age of social disconnectivity and lack of human contact, the effects of the Free Hugs campaign became phenomenal. As this symbol of human hope spread accross the city, police and officials ordered the Free Hugs campaign BANNED. What we then witness is the true spirit of humanity come together in what can only be described as awe inspiring. In the Spirit of the free hugs campaign, PASS THIS TO A FRIEND and HUG A STRANGER! After all, If you can reach just one person...

I've seen this before, and I liked it... I like the idea of it a whole lot. But I had to wonder about it being a "true story", or at least a genuine one. "Juan Mann" -- one man? What do you think?

I admire the concept, but personally I will not hug a stranger. Family and friends are lucky to get one haha.

That was a cool video, until the cops showed up. I wondered what country this was taking place in to have that happen. I went to the web site and was shocked that it was Australia! I was thinking something way more repressed than that! It's a cool web site, a cool song, and a cool movement.

Thats sounds so neat. And yet, if a stranger hugged me, I would cringe. I would think of all kinds of bad stuff like, lice, scabbies, mental problems... And yet, it does sound neat.

I'm wierd about hugs - ya know, sometimes I melt, other times I get a bad vibe, like a few of the church guys that just wanna feel your boobs crushed up against their chest while they look nice & religious. In which case, I stick out my hand quickly to thwart the feel and shake hands instead. Funny how they ignore you after a couple of "thwarts." LOL.
