Post 700

Considering I never figured I'd manage to reach this many posts, and it seems like an impressive number, I don't have anything super important to talk about. Whatever, maybe for post 800...if I can manage it!

I did, however, want to bring your attention to a new series debuting on the Discovery Channel this Thursday. It looks awesome! And will be a nice alternative to Survivor. Check your local listings to find out when Last One Standing will be playing in your timezone. Who am I kidding? Chances are I'll be too tired to stay up and watch it...

I was a bad girl this weekend and started learning a few choice Spanish expressions. They don't really have anything to with learning about Mexico's history but it's always a good idea to learn how to tell an asshole to "get bent" in another language. Here's what I've picked up so far:

Puta la madre, puta la hija.
Chupame el pito.
Chingate tu madre, cabron.

If you're easily offended, I wouldn't recommend trying to translate them... Muchos Gracias to the Alternative Spanish Dictionary for adding to my education.

Well done, it's important to be able to curse in another language. Actually I think I know these ones as the resident offspring is taking Spanish in school and is always eager to share.

That's a lovely Spanish poem you've got there!

And congratulations for your 700th post :)
