Your Captain Needs Her Head Examined...

...sometimes I'm an idiot. Seems I forgot to take my blood pressure medication this morning. Ooops! Silly me. I realized it when I got to work. However, I wasn't going to be able to take it until at least 8ish tonight (which is a bad idea when it comes to my heart stuff - too close to the next dosage), so it would just have to wait until the next morning. Unfortunately, as has been happening a lot lately, I had a cigarette with some of my officemates during our morning break. An hour later, my BP had zoomed up and I ended up extremely dizzy and nauseous. I put two and two together and the answer I got was far higher than 120/80. Before all you scurvy dogs decide to mutiny and hang me from the yard arm, this is only the second time (I think?) that I've forgotten my medication since beginning in January. And yes, the smoking will cease immediately. I had already planned on that anyways. Now excuse me while I go lie down and hope the world stops spinning...

Glad you're quitting the occasional smoking. Sharing cigarette breaks with friends once in a while turns into a lot in a while, and then you're up to a pack a day coughing your innards out.

Hope you are feeling better now. Glad to hear that you will never smoke another cigarette.
