Peasant members of the '400 Pueblos' movement strip off to protest against the loss of their lands in the state of Veracruz, southwestern Mexico (photo from the Globe and Mail).

Why can't I find anything on this? There are links to a protest back in May of this year but not to one recently...This photo appeared TODAY in GaM's photos from the past 24 hours. Hmmm.

can't find anything? probably because they are indigenous people.....that's not a high rating in mainstream press books.

Maybe we aren't supposed to know! I wonder if the New Orleaneans are going to do a similar protest over there land grabs.......?
