Today is semi-finals day. In game one, Russia is playing Sweden (there's currently no score so far at the end of the first period). Then it's the big game: Canada vs. USA. This will be starting around noon (MST) today. You can catch the Russia/Sweden game live on TSN.ca. Not sure, but I'm hoping to be able to catch the Canada game as well when it starts. Just a note, last year I think the link on the website to watch the game only worked in Canada but give it a test and see what happens.

Update: family stuff - see the comment I left on that post. Things are better but not great.

Update: Dinner and A Movie. Mom and I will be having lunch on Saturday (she's now working nights!) and watching Beowulf and Grendel which I've been wanting to see for a while now. Lunch will be veggie spring rolls and dumplings with a grilled potato/arugala salad (with a dijon vinegrette) and sliced tomatoes on the side. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. The salad is courtesy of the Perfect Vegetables cookbook I bought back in early 2007.

Lunch sounds wonderful! I saw the new Beowulf and was so disappointed. Hope the version you are going to watch is better.
