.... *snort*. What? Where am I? Oh Great Davy Jones' locker, I must have dozed off there. Whew. Yessir I am tired. Or rather, I'm plum tuckered out. It's been quite the past two days for me. Yesterday, being Friday, I was at work. However, Mother Nature blessed us with a beautiful spring like day which topped out at a fantastic (and utterly unexpected) high of +9C. Holy shit burgers, that's downright tropical compared to what we've been having this month. As such, I decided to walk home. That's about 3.25Km from the office to apartment door. The walk was great, it felt amazing to be back out walking again and my knees behaved themselves. The roads and sidewalks however were a completely different story filled with giant puddles, slushy sidewalks, and assholes who like to splash pedestrians. It was an early night for me.

Today, I'm ready for bed already and it's only 3:50ish in the afternoon. Oh sure, the cats woke me up bright (well...more pitch black than bright) and early but I've gotten used to it. This morning, I headed out early to beat the crowds at the grocery store. Again, a fabulous day - +2C at 8am already so I walked - that's about 2Km. Took the bus home but then went out again just after lunch to get laundry money and pick up a few last minute items for a parcel. That was another 1 to 1.5Km. Back home to wrap items for the parcel and then out again to mail it off...another kilometre added to the total. Plus, I picked up a four pack of Stronbow on the way home and treated myself to one with lots of ice...that's enough to make me relaxed and sleepy on it's own. So, I've been busy, busy, busy. And yet I haven't even started to clean my apartment...and oh boy it needs it. Tomorrow's laundry, making cranberry sauce, and off to the brother's for a family/friend turkey feast.

Yep, good thing Monday's a holiday. Mondays were made for sleeping I think. Arrrgghh.

I hate the mucky, slushy part of the winter as things start melting, too. Yuck. But you got a lot of walking in which is great - glad you got out to enjoy the balmy weather while you could.

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm exhausted, too. Like, paralyzed with fatigue...I went to bed before 9 last night.
