...to the movie quotes/clips that no one has guessed:

#1. The Beast of War (1988). Starring Jason Patric, George Dzundza, Stephen Baldwin, Eric Avari, and Don Harvey. It's about a tank which gets seperated from the rest of the column and is tracked by Afghan rebels during the Russian invasion of Afghanistan. A great underrated movie with a message, and one that perhaps more people should see considering the current situation over there.

#4. Spies Like Us (1985). Starring Chevy Chase and Dan Ackroyd. Two bumbling government employees get the chance of a lifetime when they're asked to become spies. But are they really highly trained secret agents or merely inept pawns in the hands of their superiors bent on global domination?

#7. Clue (1985). Starring Tim Curry, Madeline Khan, Michael McKean, Christopher Lloyd, Martin Mull, and a lovely guest appearance by Jane Weidlin of the Go-Gos as the doomed Singing Telegram girl. Hilarious. The quote is by Mrs. White while discussing her deceased, decapitated, and de-willied husband. Six guests, unknown to each other but connected through the mysterious Mr. Body, must work together to solve a murder mystery in a creepy castle.

#8. Top Secret (1984). Starring Val Kilmer and Omar Shariff. A young American rock and roll singer is invited to perform at a German cultural festival but quickly gets mixed up with the French resistance and is on the run from the Nazis. I can't believe no one got this... The quote is from the prison scene where Nick tries to rescue Dr. Flammond.

#9. Die Hard (1988). Shea guessed this one but only after the famous clip below. Not sure if that counts but the quote I gave was a bit difficult. Argyle, the limo driver, is watching the news from the car in the garage below the building and says this line as one of the police assault vehicles is hit with a rocket.

The Beast of War I've never heard of. I watched the clip and I had no idea what it was. It looks like it might be a good rental for the reasons you mentioned.
