Daily Website meme

Dr. Monkey tagged me the other day with a meme about which websites I visit on a daily basis. Hmmm, that’s a tough one but I’ll give it a try. I’ll ignore all the blogs I visit because that’s too obvious. Here goes:

Gamehouse: I play at least one game of Atlantis Quest each day at work rather than taking a smoke/coffee break. Similar to Bejeweled and Tetris, I’m addicted. At least I’m not searching for porn on the company’s time…

Globe and Mail: I don’t read the news, I just look “Day in Pictures” section. They have some of the best shots from around the world and, unlike other news sites, they update their photos section every day (sometimes more than once a day).

CBC Radio, which I listen to everyday at work, and CNN, just to see what those darn Americans are up to.

The USGS Earthquake Centre because I like to shake, rattle and roll.

The Internet Movie Database: I’m not a big “stargazer” but I do enjoy seeing what’s happening in the entertainment world. Plus it seems a bit more reliable than some of the other entertainment websites out there. And I can get detailed info, goofs and trivia about my favourite movies/actors as well as joining in the discussions with other movie fans.

Finally, the past few weeks I’ve been visiting UEFA’s Eurocup 2008 website. Getting my news updates on what’s going on with the various teams. Today, another coworker and I put together our Eurocup pool and worked out most of the details. I can’t wait for June!!!! The best scenario? If Germany faces Italy in the final and she and I would have dueling decorated desks…. Bring it.

I’m not tagging anyone on this one.

I find myself hitting imdb after every good film. It's a great site.
