And I've got the view to prove it. I popped by to pick up mom on the way to our first community garden meeting tonight and we stopped by the new apartment for a couple of quick pics. The following two pictures are the view from our balcony. Right now, spring hasn't completely sprung here in Edmonton so things are a bit brownish, dirty, and some spots still have a touch of snow. But just imagine this in the height of summer when everything's green and gorgeous...

And then there's the view ... down. Surprisingly, the view from our balcony doesn't bother me nearly as much as the one from mom's. And ours is 10 floors higher! Go figure.

It's going to be great!

Wow - a great view! And a great view is always just...great. I hope it works out well and that your move goes smoothly. I might garden a tiny bit this summer, too, but I can't plant anything until after the May 24 long weekend - the traditional time of the Rossland growing season. I guess after that date we're not supposed to get any frost.

Coyote, it's the same here. We have been known to get snow in June on the rare year so we typically don't plant most plants until the 24 weekend. However, the seeds I started on the weekend are going crazy and I don't think they're going to wait! I may have to pot them until we're allowed to plant in the garden.

Tee hee...dizzy monkey.

That first picture looks like it was taken from the Texas School Book Depository... there's even a grassy knoll! You're not moving to Dallas, are you?

Uh oh, you've foiled my plans ...
