No Wicked Witches Were Injured in the Creation of This Post

Thursday, July 17, 2008
The tornado watch came and went with very little notice in the city of Edmonton. I should be grateful but I'm actually a bit disappointed. We once again were the recipients of a bit of rain, some cat-terrifying thunder and a bit of lightening. However, most of the bad weather passed to the south of us. From the balcony we could see the big dark clouds passing over the southside and likely Leduc/Nisku/the Airport and it looked like it was going to be a good storm. No twisters around though, at least no funnel clouds that touched the ground. It just hasn't been hot enough lately. So, no greenish skies, no flying houses landing on wicked witches, and no singing munchkins although I'm definately not in Kansas.

Sure has been some wild weather around lately, hasn't there? I came home from grocery shopping in the middle of a huge hailstorm yesterday. Those puddles were amazing! And deep.

That's good news that you didn't get anything worse than what you had. Poor kitties though.
