Still debating if I'm going to be able to swing all or any of the Time Travellers' series this year. However, there is a free talk being given on the 14th by Michel Amandry from the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris. He will "contrast Pausanias’s descriptions with the depictions of Corinth, its monuments and its art on ancient coins." I know, for most of you this doesn't sound too exciting but for a geek like me...this is going to be heaven.

If he is talking about old coins that would be cool to know more about and how they came about really. I am reading a book I will put in our book worm when I am done but they are talking about old coins too being paid to the spies to give information to another country about the war that is going on in the book..

Oh, I would try and attend, at all costs!! And you are not a geek!

When I was a kid I wanted to be an archeologist or an historian of ancient civilizations when I grew up.
