Has everyone recovered from their sugar overdose-induced dreams of being chased by zombie children wanting to eat your candy corn brains? No? Just me...? I hope you all had a fun and safe halloween. Your dentists thank you for taking part in this sweet filled holiday. As for me and my crew, we indulged ourselves by eating homemade pizza and caesar salad and watching Friday the 13th. We also tried to watch the original Halloween. Unfortunately both the Admiral and I were too pooped to party and ended up falling asleep sometime between 7:30 and 8:00 pm. We leave such exciting lives, don't we? Having gone to bed so early, I was up bright and early this Saturday morning and decided to experiment while I waited for my laundry.

As you know I'm heading off to the land of fish and chips, tea, cricket and Coronation Street this spring, and I have the extreme pleasure of staying with a couple of fabulous bloggers for part of my trip. Now, when I'm at home, I usually wander around sans cheveux, however as I'll be a guest in someone else's home, I thought I should perhaps rethink this. I mean, I wouldn't want the lady of the house to become so overwhelmingly jealous of my fabulous carefree do that she decides to emulate me much to the likely shock and horror of her husband.

Years ago, before I started wearing a wig, I used to cover up my thinning hair with a bandana however this doesn't really cut it anymore. In my closet, sitting unused for at least a year was a head scarf I had ordered so I pulled it out and began testing various ways to cover up my tonsured tête. I didn't have much luck but finally came up with this little gem. Warning! You might want to prepare yourself...I'm even more gorgeous than usual...

The conclusion? I really REALLY need to pluck my eyebrows.

That does look stunning, and rather comfy too!

Oo - nice. You might try searching the web for modest clothing for ideas on head coverings and wraps. I googled and found tznius.com...it has a section on tying head-coverings (http://www.tznius.com/cgi-bin/tying.pl).

Ha ha! Heather, it's so funny you mentioned tznius.com! That's the exact website where I ordered the headscarf from! Great minds, I guess.

Oh Barb, you flatter me so :) It is quite comfy!
