I found it funny this morning to discover that the Globe and Mail gave Quantum of Solace, the newest James Bond flick only 2 (out of 5) stars and yet they gave JCVD, a movie about Jean Claude van Damme played by the Muscles from Brussels himself, three stars, claiming it's "DAMME GOOD". Hmmm, I'll have to rethink my plans regarding which films to watch during the holiday season!!!

It's a shame that the newest 007 isn't living up to the hype. I have yet to read a review that hasn't made me think twice about going to see it. Sorry Admiral, we're going to pass on that one. And we can't blame Daniel Craig for it not being as good as the previous Bond films. Frankly once Roger Moore took over from Sean Connery, it all started to head downhill from there. Oh sure, there was a slight rise back up once Pierce Brosnan was cast, taking over from Timothy Dalton as probably the worst Bond ever (sorry Timmy, I loved you in Flash Gordon but you were NO Bond) but considering how far down the series had gone by that point, it didn't make much difference.

And Facebook is being a royal pain in my buttinski this morning. Stupid thing.

Facebook is being strangely slow, isn't it? It isn't just me, then...
