I love my travel agent ... again.

Yay! On her first day back from her own vacation, my travel agent, Candy (no relation to Ms. Minx) has sorted out the problem with my flights and managed to score me pretty good seats. Granted, not as great as the original seats on my original flights but pretty darned good. On the quick trip from Edmonton to Calgary, I've got a window seat (it's a small plane so I'm hoping the window makes me feel a bit safer - I don't handle small planes well). Then, about 2 1/2 hours in the airport before my next flight takes off. Plenty of time to gather my luggage if I need to (probably as it's a different carrier) and check in for my international connection. The flight there, I have an aisle seat on the left side of the plane. This is actually better than the window as the side rows on this plane are three seaters and I won't have to crawl over anyone to get to the bathroom. Whew. Plus, considering it's an overnight flight, I can stretch my legs out! Then on the way back, just the one plane and I've got a window seat but there's only one seat beside me so only one set of legs to crawl over. Whew. Relief has set in.

In addition, some good news at work in regards to having someone cover for me when I'm gone. Problem solved, no training required, and no working from home ... for now. Ah, all is well in Canuck land. Well, except for almost losing my voice today at work. Ow.

Watching LOST tonight, perchance?

Aisle seats are the best! I can't stand the window seats as they make me feel trapped.

Only a few sleeps more and you are in London -how great is that!

That is great news.. Thanks for keeping us posted. i was starting to worry for you.. I have never been on an air plane but have been told its like sitting in your livingroom after you get up in the air.

I always aspire to an aisle seat, but generally travel with two others and somehow always get the middle seat - the worst possible seat on the plane. Enjoy the legroom.

“…sorted out the problem with my flights and managed to score me pretty good seats.” – That’s great news! This is one of the best things about having a travel agent. They really helped their client to get the best deal out in the market. Is she still your travel agent?
