Damn Amazonians...

I regularly use Amazon's Wish List feature to track the books that I want to eventually read/purchase. It changes all the time as I go through stages of what interests me. I find that it's a great resource and have been adding books to it on and off for about 5 or 6 years now. It comes in especially handy when at the library and I can't seem to find anything that strikes my reading fancy.

Over the past few months however I've been having problems with it. When you open up the page of a particular book, there used to be an "add to wishlist" button on the right hand side underneath the "add to cart" button. Both seem to have disappeared. They've replaced it with an easy, one click shopping button with a drop down list of the addresses in your account. The weird thing though is that every once in a while, the wish list button is there but most times it is not.

I'm disappointed that Amazon's either having problems with their wish list button functions or they've decided to phase it out. I refuse to use the similar feature on Chapters/Indigo's website for various reasons and while I'm considering using the one that the Edmonton Public Library system offers, the library doesn't carry all the books or DVD's that I want. Suggestions anyone?
