I think I'm Alone Now...

...there doesn't seem to be any one aro-ound. In fact, the last of my fellow cubicle inmates left for home about 20 minutes ago. Dang, its quiet! Toooo quiet if you know what I mean. I'll have to watch myself to ensure I don't start singing old Tiffany songs to myself and pretending I'm doing a concert in a mall. Never fear for me though! While no one is sending me work to finish up, I'm keeping myself busy by reading (trying to finish The Bounty before the end of the year) and that old standby, solitaire.

No big plans for me this evening. Mom has to work so she'll be doing her usual "dinner and a nap" routine. I'll likely be in bed by 9PM only to be rewoken at midnight when the fireworks go off downtown. Probably for the best anyways. I haven't been feeling too well this week. I doubt its a cold; more likely its because I haven't been sleeping. How do I know? Well, not to be gross but my mucus is clear. Just regular old boogers from my nose. Sorry! I know, I know...TMI. But there you go.

Nothing too interesting going on, no end of year lists, I've already done my non-resolutions. Why don't you tell us what you're doing this New Year's Eve???

I have cleverly insinuated myself into my brother & SIL's plans - which is to stay home & let people come to their place. I am going for the food and for the company - for once I'd like to not spend New Year's Eve alone.

Happy New Year!

We actually went to a new year's party, for the first time in 10 years. It's like Y2K all over again.

Happy New Year!
We did our usual sushi making for New Year's Eve. It was just the 2 of us and the cats.
