Making Up

So, I'm putting the Chip Incident behind me and moving on. Shortly after my previous post, I laced up my runners, stuck my earphones in, and worked out. I felt fantastic - its amazing what some endorphins and a bit of sweat will do for your self-image!

The workout today:
5 min warmup
1 min run (4.0 mph)
2 min walk (2.9 mph)
(x 6)
22 min walk (2.8 - 3.0 mph / 7 min @ 1 incline)
5 min cooldown

Total time: 50 minutes
2.45 Miles
287 calories (according to the treadmill)

Only problem? I have to start stretching after working out...my legs are starting to feel tight the day after a run.

This was followed up with an actual breakfast - 1/2 cup quick oats, 1/4 cup raspberry almond granola, 1/2 cup blackberries and a splash of milk. Pretty good but it needed something. It was very bland. Cinammon? Ginger? Something to give it a bit of flavour.

The rest of the day will be filled with laundry, cleaning, a bit of work, and lots and lots of football!
