I'm not sure why but I've had very little energy for the past two days. My legs have also been a bit achy since my last treadmill session. I figured a day off was in order - give the old stems a chance to rest, recover and repair themselves so yesterday I relaxed and watched four episodes of the first season of X-Files. Did you know, I was never a very big fan of the series when it was on? I don't know what it was but it just didn't catch my attention. Typical me. Always years late to the party. Today however, its back on track. Biggest Loser is on this evening and I'll be watching while walking my little buns off.

Today's been a pretty good day - healthy lunch, healthy breakfast, decent snacks. Pretty proud of myself. I even walked up the hill to work and to the library at lunch (although that's only a couple of blocks). Dinner, as you can see, was colourful and delicious! Steamed broccoli (yum!) with a smidge of melted jalapeno Cheez Whiz, and farfalle pasta with sauteed onions and peppers, chopped up leftover chicken breast and some jarred marinara sauce. Oh my sweet bejeebus! I wish I had made more because I wanted seconds.
