I made French toast. Oh sure, I've eaten French toast a few times before but it was never a food that I craved / desired so I never bothered to make it. Talk about simple. Sheesh! And sooooo yummy. My egg soak consisted of egg ('natch), milk, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a little bit of orange zest. Next time, I'll add a little more zest - the hint of orange really made it POP!

I used to make French toast quite often, but fell out of the habit a few years ago. I make a savoury one though, so perhaps it's more like Swiss toast or something.
