I don't know why it took me sooo long to write up that last "review". Seriously, two sentences. Oh well, its a relief to get it out of the way. I still have to share my thoughts on World War Z and John Stanton's Walking, although I'm not sure if I'll write anything up for that last one or not.
It seems like I've been a lazy blogger lately; I just haven't had the energy to say anything here. I've been filling my spare time with old episodes of Law and Order: Criminal Intent (gawd, how I love me some Vincent D'Onofrio...). I'm currently on season 7 but experiencing a bit of burn out. Too much of a good thing, you know? I've also recently started watching Suburgatory. Why did no one tell me about this before? Hilarious!! And Jeremy Sisto reminds me of my brother. I powered through four episodes already this evening.
Other than that, not a whole lot going on. Mom and I are taking part in the Terry Fox run/walk in September - raising money for cancer research. 10K so a bit further than the other charity walks we usually do but we're up for it.
Right now, we're both chillaxin' on the balcony, enjoying a lovely warm summer evening. Yes, the neverending rains in Alberta seem to have, well, ended. At least the near constant downpours that contributed to the flooding all over the province (but mainly in the south). We might get a thunderstorm tonight - the temperatures jumped up to almost 30 and look like they're going to stay HOT HOT HOT for all of next week. There's a fantastic breeze that's been blowing all day way up here, high in the sky, so the kittehs (and humans) have kept relatively cool.
Canada Day is Monday but as usual, I've got no plans. Chances are I'll be fast asleep in bed until I'm awoken by fireworks. Then, I'll just be cranky and tired.
