My 1000 Books

One of the items on my "To Do Before I Die" list is to read 1000 books.  I have a pretty good feeling that if I could remember all the books I've read over the course of my lifetime, I've already reached this goal.  However, I can't remember that far back and I've only been keeping track for a couple of years now (since 2006) so there aren't many on the list.  I'm a bit disappointed with myself after writing that...considering I've been tracking my books for almost four years now, I'm only up to book 109.  I suppose I should be proud - that works out to just over 27 books a year.  However, most of those came in the first two years.  That's it.  More reading for me!  Sadly, my goal for this year (2010) was a mere 12 books and I don't think I reached that...  Anyways, here's a handy list of the books I've read so far with links to some of the reviews on the blog.  A number of the links are missing; they're still on the blog but I can't link to them because I changed the title link of many of those reviews to the books on  If you're interested, just do a search.
